OR: Pascal was a kid with pretty dreams, lived in monastery-sponsored charity housing until 16, ran away with his best friend, fell in with a bad crowd, became a racketeering thug, and eventually pulled an impressive heist to get enough money to buy himself the documents needed to become a Real Person in his world.
He put all his effort towards assuming the demeanor of a slightly bougie average citizen and got a job as an attendant at a prestigious laceworks, and now he does okay. (provided no one looks too closely into his past or questions his documents) He's thrilled to have achieved his dream of becoming a tailor and is devoted to his work.
Pascal is cheerful, expressive, social, and generally well-meaning. He cares a lot about what people think of him, and his personality can come off as performative or insincere at times, especially when he feels insecure.
